BEAUTY IN THE STRANGE

The Bomb Factory, London

December 2024

An exhibition showcasing work produced by young people affected by homelessness over a series of multi disciplinary workshops through the Centrepoint Activities Programme. Not limited to a specific medium these sessions invited participants to connect with their strengths, values and identities through self expression and creativity. A really important collection of works exhibited at a particularly difficult time of the year for many.

MADE IN BRITAIN

Jealous Gallery, East London

October 2024

Curated by Bashy, this exhibition marked the release of the musician’s latest album, ‘Being Poor Is Expensive’.

“Its a real honour to have been selected to create art that responds to Bashy’s latest album. His catalogue of work, old and new, is a vivid representation of the lasting influence of the Grime generation on UK culture; its message, style, delivery and attitude are unique to Britain and will forever hold its place in our history.

Ultra Kolor has created artworks that capture that spirit and its emotions; love, pain, struggle, strength, hope, survival, all born from the concrete melting pot of the city.”
